Riddles and rooftops
For work and team building, we headed off to Portugal. I enjoyed Lisbon so much. It’s been cold in London for the longest time and the stretch into spring is just dragging along.
Soft matte...
My best friends came over to London last fall. It worked out that it would be my 30th birthday and one of my friends could make arrangements for us to fly abroad somewhere!
Now or maybe never
I still owe the Itinerary a proper “London” Blog. I’m not sure what I’m waiting for but I just know…I should wait! Yes, I’ve been eating at a lot of cool restaurants…
Reunion Station/27
I’ve visited Denver once before but I spent most of my days in a conference on the 16th Street Mall. This time was much more exciting though because I got to hang with a group of my best friends over the next three days.
“How do you know each other?”
I wasn’t in Canada for even a day but can say I was able to visit twice! We even asked for a passport stamp to confirm this because, for some reason, it just isn’t something they do I guess.
"Being young in the city"
I was completely content with never visiting New York City in my life ever. To be completely honest, it seemed overrated but between dancing to music about our fractured generation or watching Ciara (for free) as an extra on Good Morning America, I don’t know what I loved more.
''I'm so ready for the cruise"
“I’m so ready for the cruise.” An outcry my friend and I recited many times over the months leading up to the Norwegian voyage. I had never experienced quite a vacation like one aboard a 3,000+ passenger vessel.
Feeling right at home
I left for Dublin, Ireland not knowing a whole lot about the country. I had my own perceptions and of course I thought of the green scenery and St. Patrick's day but not much else.
Short and Sweet
My next stop after Dublin was to visit my friend in Madrid. I actually met her in a store called Pound Stretcher in England. It was about a week before our courses started and we've been friends ever since.
Solo with strangers
Last fall (2015) I planned a trip to Paris with the company STA Travel. As I had been familiar with their services and really admired what they do for students, I felt confident in what I was getting into. They made me feel a little bit more secure with traveling alone as well. I would conclude my semester abroad by visiting France for a week and then return to England to fly home.
